Before his current state service, he was a critical infrastructure specialist with the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He played a pivotal role in establishing the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), contributing to policy development, training, and recruitment over a 15-year tenure.
His professional journey began as a resident firefighter and emergency medical technician, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to public safety.
